He graduated from Villanova in 1983 and spent a few years in Boston and Pittsburgh working for the Treasury Department before returning to the Philadelphia area to spend the remainder of his career in commercial banking. He first became involved with PHS through an opportunity at Fleet Bank (now Bank of America) called Business On Board.
